HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT STRUCTURES Incorporated, a 501c3.
A NON PROFIT FOR THE RESTORATION OF LIGHTHOUSES

Home

OUR GOAL: To restore, renovate, preserve and operate structures that are part of our heritage and our nation’s treasures: lighthouses!

We hopefully will be celebrating the decison of the NPS to deed the lightstation to be restored for public access and use!  Our revised application was submitted 7/28/2008.

I heard from an employee of the NPS in Washington that our application was accepted and is awaiting signatures in the Department of the Interior! A GSA staff member said that they are preparing the deed for our group! I am eagerly waiting for the letter of acceptance in writing!
