THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT FIRST YEAR OF HUNDREDS OF VISITORS!

We are on the National Historic Registry! Light tower c.1849, keeper's quarters c.1867, both with Alexander Parris as Architect!

We had a great crowd for the Fourth of July and August 7th, National Lighthouse Day, 2009! Thanks everyone for your help and support!

About us:

We are currently trying to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for restoration and reconstruction of the facility for the public to enjoy the lightstation! We hope to open it for overnight stays in addition to the tower climbs we now offer!  Our 501c3 status allows your contribution to be tax deductible. Please check with your tax or investment adviser!  You may mail a check written to "Historically Significant Structures Inc." to our corporate office at:

201 S. 18th St., #1418
 Phila., Pa. 19103

to receive a tax receipt letter in the mail. Thank you!

It's a great lighthouse facility to help navigation in the area since 1849!

We hope to have the facility up and running for overnight stays by 2011 or 2012!!!

Please help us fundraise! We have state and federal non-profit status! We need private contributors and corporate sponsors! Tax receipts available!
